The Janison Short Sharp Film Festival this year is featuring two festivals.

The Young Guns festival dedicated to filmmakers under 18 years.  There is three categories for them including

Primary up to Year 6 NSW;  Junior High School up to Year 10 NSW and Senior High School up to Year 12.

The Sharpies Award for filmmakers 18+ to be screened on the second night of the festival.  Entries will be closed 3rd May.  Check out the Janison Short…

No Wonder

Call me a freaking cynic, but no wonder not many produtions get made in the area. Lack of freaking resources.I have been searching high and low for HDCAM facilities and there just arent any. Looks like Sydney is the go for this, and i also did an extencive search for sound studio's. Nothing, people do you hear me, nothing.Yeah i can get my hands on a voice over booth, but what about a full blown sound recording studio.Either i am not looking in the right places, or this region is missing some…See More

Does anyone out there know of any HDCAM facilities in the area. Putting a budget together and i need to know how much i am in for, for transferring fottage (animated) to HDCAM.

So if anyone knows of any facilities in the area please let me know.
